This page explains what we collect, why we need it, and how we handle it when you use Freesaweria. We keep this policy short on purpose — no dense legal blocks, just the key points that matter to people uploading property photos, floor plans, virtual tours, or browsing the site.
What we collect
Most of what we collect is either information you give us directly or basic technical data needed to make the site work.
- Account details: If you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. We never see your actual password.
- Uploaded content: This includes property photos, floor plan sketches, 360-degree panoramas, virtual tour files, captions, and any descriptions you add. We store these files so they can be displayed publicly or privately, depending on the settings you choose.
- Usage data: We collect standard server logs — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time on site. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site performs and where to improve speed or reliability.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember basic preferences. Some analytics tools may set their own cookies to help us understand traffic patterns, but we do not use cross-site advertising trackers on our own domain.
How we use your information
- To host and serve your property visuals — photos, floor plans, 360-degree images, and virtual tours — exactly as you upload them.
- To keep your account secure and prevent abuse or spam on the platform.
- To improve the speed and reliability of image and virtual tour delivery, especially for users in India accessing listings on mobile connections.
- To respond to support requests or account-related questions.
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.
Uploaded content and visibility
You keep full ownership of the property photos, floor plans, and other visuals you upload. Nothing on Freesaweria changes that. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and serve those files as part of the hosting service — nothing more.
Visibility depends on your upload settings. Public uploads may be viewable by anyone with the link. Private uploads are only visible to you and anyone you share a direct link with. If you embed visuals on another website, those images are served by our content delivery network and may generate standard server logs.
Cookies and third-party services
We keep cookies to a minimum. Essential cookies handle login sessions and security. Analytics tools may use cookies to give us a broad picture of how many people visit and which pages they view. We do not use these to track individual behaviour across other websites.
If you use interactive virtual tours or embedded 360-degree viewers from a third-party provider, that provider may have its own privacy policy. We recommend checking it before uploading content that relies on external hosting.
Data retention
- Account information stays with us as long as your account is active.
- Uploaded content remains on our servers until you delete it or close your account. Deleted files may remain in backup copies for up to 30 days before being permanently removed.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period — usually around 90 days — for security and diagnostic purposes, then deleted or anonymized.
Security
We use HTTPS, encrypted storage for sensitive account data, and access controls to limit who can view private uploads. No online service can guarantee 100% security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your property visuals and personal information.
Your rights
You can access, update, or delete your account and all uploaded content at any time through your dashboard. You can also export your original image and floor plan files before deleting them.
If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to know what personal data we hold, the right to request correction or erasure, and the right to withdraw consent for specific processing activities. Children’s privacy
Freesaweria is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has uploaded content or created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will post the new version here with an updated date. We will not send individual notifications for minor wording updates.
